About Riverside...

Riverside Elementary is located in the City of Coral Springs, at the southeast corner of Coral Ridge Drive and Riverside Drive. Our school was built in 1986, and currently has an enrollment of 855 students from kindergarten through the fifth grade. We are proud of our students and their academic achievements.

Riverside's students continue to perform well on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT). We have been designated with an "A+" school grade, for the past five consecutive years, by the Florida Department of Education, an accomplishment for which we are extremely proud. In addition to our fine and dedicated staff, our parents and community partnerships continue to provide tremendous support for the children through their participation in School Advisory Council, School Advisory Forum, and PTO.

Having a strong volunteer support base has helped Riverside Elementary win the Golden Schoolhouse Award and the Five Star School Awards. The Five Star is awarded by the State of Florida’s Department Of Education to schools who meet the rigorous requirements exhibiting community and business partnerships, family involvement, volunteers, and student and community service hours. We have been a recipient of the Five Star award for the past 11 years.

Riverside Elementary is a member of the JP Taravella High School Innovation Zone, which includes all schools in the feeder pattern for our students. The schools in the zone are: Maplewood Elementary, Ramblewood Elementary, Riverside Elementary, Tamarac Elementary, Ramblewood Middle and Taravella High School.
