FROM THE DESK OF JULIANNE C. CONNER  Riverside has experienced a great year. Our parent involvement nights, learning communities, academic extravaganza, carnival, Grandparents' Day, and so many other events combined to celebrate the teamwork that all of our stakeholders value so highly. Although the release of FCAT scores have been delayed, we are confident that our students will exhibit continued learning gains and increased student achievement. Working together we can face any challenge and continue to provide a quality education for students. Thank you for your partnership in the learning process.
I wish each of you a safe and happy summer. We are already planning our special events for next year! If you will be new to Riverside, please join us for a new student orientation on August 20th at 8:30 in the cafeteria. At 1:00 on that same afternoon, we will have a "meet and greet" event where you will be able to come to school and locate your child's classroom. School begins on August 23rd.
